It’s only recently that vehicle manufacturers have started to recommend servicing automatic gearboxes and changing the automatic transmission fluid.

It’s recommended that this is changed every 30-40,000 miles as part of routine maintenance and also because many automatic gearbox faults can actually be corrected by flushing out and refilling the oil. At Drive Green Vehicle Services we are pleased to be able to offer automatic gearbox flushing and refilling at our workshop in Haverhill, a specialist service which drains off 100% of the old gearbox oil, vastly superior to the majority of automatic gearbox services which generally drain off no more than 60% of the old oil.
